Parking Garage Cleaning Networking Event, March 26 – 28, Las Vegas

If you’re wanting to learn more about commercial flatwork and parking garage cleaning, mark your calendars and reserve your spot to attend a new one-of-a kind experience – the Parking Garage Cleaning Networking Event, March 26 through 28 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

For three full days, attendees will combine classroom instruction, Q&A discussion and an actual on-site parking garage cleaning utilizing a variety of the industry’s state-of-the-art equipment. “The event will give parking garage and commercial flatwork cleaners a place to learn how to do the best and most efficient job possible, and in turn, help them make more money,” said John Tornabene, who is one of the event’s coordinators.

The event is hosted by Jim Gamble – aka “The Garage Doctor” – owner of Crystal Cleaning Company, who has been cleaning parking garages in California for 25 years and whose knowledge and experience “will be available for the asking.” The event is “designed for anyone who wants to move forward in their business,” Gamble explained, adding that it is “for those who want to see, learn, and experience what it will take to make $50k in a weekend.”

The Event Schedule

Day 1: Presentations from Industry Laders

The Parking Garage Cleaning Networking Event kicks off Tuesday morning and will include several presentations from industry leaders. These include:

  •  “A to Z and everything in between about Garage Cleaning and how to earn top dollar by doing the best job possible,” presented by Jim Gamble, Crystal Cleaning Company.
  • “Quick Service Restaurants drive thru pressure cleaning & wash water runoff issues,” presented by Nigel Griffith, owner of Griffs Services in Maryland.
  • Powerwashing & industry EPA concerns, Robert Hinderliter, founder of the Power Washers of North America (PWNA) and the United Association of Mobile Cleaning Contractors (UAMCC)
  • Employee Retention and Relations, Michael Hinderliter, owner of Steamaway and PowerWash.com in Fort Worth, Texas.
  • Following Your Passions, led by special guest Linda Ruth Tosetti (Granddaughter of Babe Ruth), joined by John Tornabene, Clean County Powerwashing in Long Island, New York.

Day one will conclude with an open question and answer session with the event committee.

Day 2: Live Cleaning Experience and Equipment Comparisons

Wednesday (Day 2) offers attendees a unique and invaluable experience – a day spent cleaning an actual parking deck utilizing different equipment provided by both contractors (including Gamble’s) and manufacturers – including Steel Eagle, Hydro Tek, and others.

“Instead of demos, machines are being brought in for the attendees to use to actually clean a parking garage,” explained Tornabene. Each attendee who wants to participate will be able to actually clean the parking garage with each piece of equipment provided. “One of the best ways to learn how to so something is through hands-on training at a jobsite. In this case, there will be instructors to help them along.”

Gamble added that this will also allow participants to “see filtration units run side by side with other contractors, not having to take anybody’s word as to which is best for their needs. They will work it, they will experience it, they will get dirty and wet working a live parking structure, and they will know which equipment is the best fit for them.”

Day 3: EPA Forum and Wrap-Up Session

The final day of the event will begin with a three-hour presentation/Q&A session with environmental regulators. Attendees will have already heard Robert Hinderliter speak on the next five years of “increased environmental enforcement and particularly the second five year plan for Phase II jurisdictions,” giving them a foundational understanding of the regulations that will impact their businesses. This additional session will allow participants to have additional questions answered.

Finally, the event will conclude with a review and discussion of all that was learned and experienced throughout the event. “The examination of what was discovered during the event is a very important element of the event, and should not be missed,” Griffith added. Each participant will also receive a certificate at the end to show they participated in the educational event.

. The cost is $329. The event will be held at the Rio Las Vegas where the cost of the three-day room block is $39/night + tax. Click here to learn more or to find out how to register.
